ignore self's XMPP resource when matching contacts' fingerprints
I am trying to share my otr.fingerprint across several devices, so that a contact's key verified on one device, carries through to the other devices. However, the problem is that each of my devices has a separate XMPP "resource" configured, as you're supposed to do, and this is stored in otr.fingerprint and pidgin-otr matches the currently-logged in account together with the exact resource, against the entries in that file.
I could manually edit that file and duplicate each verified line for each resource/device, but it would be easier-to-use if pidgin-otr could just ignore the XMPP resource. Actually I'm not totally sure why the source account is listed at all, for global-address protocols like jabber. (For protocols that have pet-names instead, it does make sense.) Maybe you have a reason for keeping this in all cases.
However, for XMPP resources, it is definitely better to ignore them - the protocol specifies that the contact list is the same per account, independently of resource.
